Dear Exer Patients,

We are here for you. You may have lots of questions and concerns in these uncertain times, and we want to take this opportunity to reassure you that we’re here to support the medical needs of you and your family. Exer Urgent Care clinics are safe, sterile and our highest priority is the safety and health of our patients, employees and the communities in which we live and work. With that in mind, we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

  • If you currently have symptoms of respiratory illness including fever, cough and shortness of breath, DO NOT come into an Exer Urgent Care clinic until contacting us first. Call the closest Exer clinic to you and we’ll guide you through our safety protocols so you can have your healthcare needs addressed. Or do a visit through VirtualCare by Exer, which allows you to have a video chat with one of our providers. Calling or using VirtualCare first will help us to prepare for your visit and reduce the exposure of our staff and other patients.
  • For the protection of our patients and employees, patients will be directed to a room immediately or asked to wait in their cars after check-in. Patients will be called once a room is available.
  • We are disinfecting surfaces more frequently, asking all patients to use hand sanitizer before registering at the front entrance, and disinfecting exam rooms and any surfaces touched by patients who have possible exposure to the COVID-19.
  • We have set up dedicated screening rooms for patients who exhibit risk factors for exposure to COVID-19.

Exer Urgent Care is working closely with local public health departments and following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines to ensure we remain up-to-date on the situation, have knowledge of the most current guidelines, and are continually reviewing, refining, and implementing our processes in response to changes in the situation. For 7 years, Exer Urgent Care has provided immediate care to our communities. We thank you for trusting us with your care, and we’re here to support you and your family.
