On-Site Prescriptions

Imagine if you didn’t have to stop at the drugstore to pick up your prescription after visiting the doctor. At Exer, you don’t have to imagine it at all!

For your convenience, every Exer Urgent Care clinic carries the most commonly prescribed medications. All prescriptions cost $25 each and can be purchased with cash or credit card. We do not bill insurance for this service. If you choose to take advantage of this convenient service, a clinical associate will assist you at the checkout desk. Please note we are only able to fill prescriptions written by Exer providers.

We Love Kids at Exer!

From young children to young adults, we help kids of all ages.

Sometimes your child needs to be seen by a doctor faster than your pediatrician can accommodate, and we can help. Every Exer Urgent Care clinic is designed with treatment rooms specifically for kids. And with on-site lab testing, x-rays, and pharmacy, we’ll have your family on the way to recovery in no time. Our doctors and medical staff have a huge amount of experience with pediatric patients. Understanding both your and your child’s concerns and addressing them quickly and with gentle care is something we take great pride in.

After we’ve treated your little one we’ll be happy to pass along the details of the treatment to their regular pediatrician if you’d like to follow up with them, just let us know.

Physical Exams and Evaluations

Exer physicians can perform a variety of routine and specialized checkups.

Walk into any Exer clinic any day of the week to have a physical exam. All of Exer Urgent Care locations offer a full variety of physical examinations to suit your needs including:

  • Annual Physical Exams
  • School, Sports & Camp Physicals
  • Pre-Employment and General Employee Health Exams

Please bring any required paperwork at the time of your visit so we may complete it for you during the exam. Many exams require a doctor’s signature on the form that the employer, camp, activity, school or sport provides so this step is very important.

Corporate Care: Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation

Exer supports the employers and employees in our communities.

Our Employer Services focus on job-related medical issues, workplace injuries, pre and ongoing employment issues and urgent care. Employees can walk into any Exer Urgent Care center any day of the week for evaluation and treatment. No appointment is necessary. We offer:

  • Treatment of workplace injuries such as sprains, strains and breaks, lacerations and wounds, eye injuries, and burns
  • Diagnostic services such as drug screenings, tuberculosis tests, EKGs, X-rays
  • Physical exams such as pre-employment and new hire exams, physical capabilities assessments, return to work clearances, annual and periodic exams

When it comes to workers’ compensation, we establish a close partnership with the employer to figure out the best plan of action for their injured employee, adhering to your company’s workers’ comp protocols and coordinating outside medical referrals when necessary.

In addition, many of our employer clients send their employees in for standard Occupational Medicine services like pre-employment screenings, physicals, drug tests and more. The fact that we’re open on evenings and weekends means that employees can be seen at their convenience outside of their employer’s work hours, and they can get back to work faster, feeling happier and healthier.

Get Your Flu Shot at Exer

We’re here to help people feel better. Getting the flu shot this season is the best way to prevent becoming sick with the flu or to lessen the effects of the flu if you do get sick.

We offer three types of flu vaccines:

  • $25 for the standard shot
  • $35 for preservative free
  • $65 for the shot for patients aged 65+

Concerned about COVID-19 and the flu?

While both COVID-19 and the flu are respiratory illnesses, the flu is caused by flu viruses while COVID-19 is caused by the coronavirus (called SARS-CoV-2).

You may have heard the term “twindemic” about flu season with COVID-19. Do your part to prevent overburdening hospitals—get the flu vaccine. You’ll save yourself from getting sick with the flu—or have a less severe case of flu.

The Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) puts getting the flu shot at the top of the list for how to prevent the flu.

Control the spread of flu by:

  • Washing your hands with soap and water or using hand sanitizer
  • Containing your coughs and sneezes
  • Avoiding crowds

Flu symptoms to look out for:

  • Fever or feeling feverish/chills
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Diarrhea or vomiting—more common in children than adults

What if you get sick?

If you do get sick, stay home unless you need medical help. You’ll be contagious in the first 3 to 4 days. Don’t go out again until you’ve been without fever for at least 24 hours.

Let’s get you better. Come into any Exer clinic and get your flu shot now!
